Princess Chelsea's new music video for - 'In Heaven'

Princess Chelsea has just released a new music video for the song 'In Heaven' off her album Everything Is Going To Be Alright. The song is also known as the “lady in the radiator song” and was written by Peter Ivers and David Lynch for Lynch's 1977 film Eraserhead. Originally just a few lines long, it has been covered by artists like Devo, Bauhaus, Modest Mouse, The Pixies, and now Princess Chelsea! Chelsea’s version has been extended to a dreamy 4-minute shoegaze epic with a few extra lyrics added (“I Love You, Everything is Fine - You Got Your Sweet Heart and I Got Mine”).

Chelsea - “I'm not sure adding ‘I Love You’ qualifies as writing lyrics, but it was a really fun exercise to turn this lovely earworm into a longer arranged piece.”

Ryan McPhun of The Ruby Suns mixed the track and played cornet, while Joshua Worthington-Church played rhythm guitar. Chelsea provided vocals, synths, drums and lead guitar.

The music video, inspired by 1970s sci-fi and religious propaganda, was crafted by Chelsea using a surreal blend of found footage, AI-generated clips, and stock imagery. The result is a bizarre, dreamlike piece she describes as “Princess Chelsea aesthetic dialed up to 100,” with subtle nods to Lynch.
